Uninstalling Uptrack

Uninstalling Uptrack is simple to do using yum:

# yum -y remove uptrack

After you remove Uptrack from a machine, it will move down to the Inactive Installations list in the Ksplice System Status web interface.

If you wish to begin using Ksplice to receive updates again, simply reinstall Ksplice. The machine will return to the Active Installations list in the Ksplice System Status web interface.

Legacy Customers and Ksplice Desktop

If you would like to uninstall Uptrack from a machine, simply use the operating system's package manager.

After you remove Uptrack from a machine, it will move down to the Inactive Installations list in the Ksplice System Status web interface.

dpkg-based systems

For example, Debian or Ubuntu.

# apt-get remove uptrack

RPM-based system

For example, CentOS, Fedora, Virtuozzo, or OpenVZ.

# yum -y remove uptrack
